PARA International is your partner for minimally invasive operations, deep exploration, speculative archaeology and prospective field research.
As an exploration group and research agency with offices in Berlin and Hamburg, we have been working internationally in the field of speculative archaeology for public institutions and private clients since 2015. Our minimally invasive operations at the interface of art and science are geared towards exploring how possible futures influence our present and aim to enter into a disruptive relationship with existing realities. State-of-the-art technical equipment, diverse falsification strategies and qualified staff in the fields of deep probing/defictionalisation and sculpting/display guarantee the best results. We offer a wide range of working and documentation methods for speculative archaeological and building prognostic investigations. Current cooperation partners include the Documentation Centre for the Future in Berlin and Hamburg, the Archaeological Museum Hamburg, the Berlin State Monuments Office, the Berlin State Museums, the Grassi Museum Leipzig and UNESCO.
The German Dream
For the exhibition ‘The German Dream’, the Grassi Museum für Völkerkunde in Leipzig is looking for utopias in terraced houses and for a people that does not appear in the ethnological museums of this country. As a high-tech service provider and research agency, PARA International is asked to present its techniques in the field of minimally invasive surgery and speculative archaeology and to share the latest findings in its search for post-contemporary German national monuments.
Are you opposed to concrete plans, afraid of political visions or want to prevent certain developments? We will ruin your future or the future you think is inevitable. We provide you with an immersive documentary as a critical experience of what is to come.
